Coming from a family that is well-known for cycling in South Africa, with 2 of my uncles as National champions, definitely planted the seed for cycling in me. I started cycling at a fairly young age, but also participated in other sports. In high school, I started to focus more on cycling, and as my passion grew for the sport, I later decided to only focus on cycling.

My best result is definitely my 2023 SA Marathon Champion title as a Junior. Other results I am also proud of include winning the 2023 WP Road Champs in only my second road race ever. I am also 2x WP XCO and Marathon Champion.

Although I am proud of my previous results and achievements, I feel I have a lot more to give in this sport, and that I have not commited up to my full potential yet.

I am very grateful to have the opportunity to race for the Valley Electrical Titan Racing Team for the 2024 season. I have had a knee injury for the first few months of 2024, but I have learned some valuable lessons. I am confident that I will come out of this injury with a stronger character, and with more knowledge than ever before.

My goals for the 2024 season are to progress and learn as much as possible, and to use my God-given talent to the best of my abilities. I will race alongside my uncle Matthys Beukes in the Valley Electrical Titan Racing team for the 2024 season, which is quite special to me and something very few athletes are privileged to do. I am looking forward to a great 2024 season with the Valley Electrical Titan Racing Team.
